Description
Inspired by the flamboyant aesthetics that reign during Día de Muertos, also known as The Day of the Dead, this pair features a colourway that’s reminiscent of the altars and decorations prepared for the dearly departed. The intricately textured black base and embossed designs in the orange overlays showcase nods to Mictlān, the nine layers of the spiritual realm that souls pass through. Adding to its bright design are the mix of green, red and yellow in the Nike Swoosh which is given a scallop detailing. Finishing off the theme are the embroidered details in both shoes’ heel tabs that when put together spells “SiEMPRE Familia” which directly translates to “forever family”.
