Rumors of a ‘Yellow Toe’ Air Jordan 1 started back in 2019, which was fueled by sources ‘claiming’ they had insider information. However, we received multiple reports from our sources that the shoes would not release in 2019 or in 2020 when the ‘rumor’ recirculated. But the good news is that we will finally see the pair release in 2022, but slightly different.
The ‘Yellow Toe’ that many saw circulating was based on the Shinedown Sample. But the pair features the band’s logo by the heel. From here, we saw a pair making the rounds without the logo. We were told by our sources at Jordan Brand that they had not produced a sample without Shinedown’s logo, meaning that there were no plans at the initial time for a release.
This Air Jordan 1 comes dressed in a Black, Taxi, and White color combination. The pair will have the signature ‘Black Toe’ theme, but instead of using University Gold, we have Taxi Yellow, which will have a slightly different look. Next, White appears on the panels, tongue label, and midsole with Black running across the ankle, Swoosh, tongue, and laces. Finally, a Taxi rubber outsole finishes the look.
