This week’s edition of top stories proved to be a dominant performance from the King of the NBA. LeBron went Zero Dark Thirty mode on the sneaker industry and had a week much like his stat line throughout this year’s NBA Playoffs, pure dominance. A bounty of color and style codes for the LeBron 16 were revealed, including images of a Bred colorway and an angelically-detailed ladies-only pair with a wild lion detail on its heel and an ankle strap. If all that wasn’t enough, the LeBron 3 “Christ The King” – one of the most revered PEs in all of LeBron’s sneaker lore will be getting a retail releaseMarkings on the cream-colored shoe suggest a collaboration with Harlem’s Fashion Row, a platform for multicultural fashion designers. James himself has become increasingly involved in the world of fashion, having helped debut the KITH x Nike LeBron 15 Collection during New York Fashion week this time last year. The early word on this pair is that it’s supposed to be a part of Fashion Week in September.
Leaked images arrive just days after it was announced that the LeBron 16 will launch in black and red on September 20. As of now, there’s no official release information for the HFR collab, but we’ll continue to follow the story in the weeks ahead.
