First Look :Air Jordan 3 ‘Katrina’ Releasing in 2017

The Air Jordan 3 “Katrina” was a special version of the Air Jordan 3 Retro made exclusively for a charity auction designed to support the relief efforts if the Hurricane Katrina aftermath. The Katrina Jordans are also the subject of a rumor – one that pins this super-rare pair of Jordans as a Retro release for this March. What was originally a blind guess continues to still be, because according to a dependable source jmadidas2001 on Niketalk, the rumor is flat-out untrue.

The Air Jordan 3 ‘Katrina’ was designed by Jordan Brand apart of a charity auction to support relief to those affected by Hurricane Katrina.

Not only was the Air Jordan 3 apart of the Hurricane Katrina Collection but many others. However for 2017, Jordan Brand will release them this time in Quickstrike form while featuring Nike Air on the heel.

Jordan Brand originally produced the rare sample of this Air Jordan 3 back in 2006. The overall look is similar that of the ‘Fire Red’ and ‘Cement’ Air Jordan 3.

For 2017, they will come with the traditional White and Red theme. Featuring White across the leather uppers, Red will be used on part of the midsole, liner and branding. In addition we will have elephant print around the toe and heel while Grey covers the outsole. Finishing the look will be Nike Air branding on the heel. This White and Red sample edition of the Air Jordan 3 was produced back in 2006 and was highly popular by a lot of sneakerheads. The shoe offers somewhere between a combination of the “Fire Red” and “Cement” Air Jordan 3s, but this particular colorway never released to the public.

In fact, the imagery of the assumed 2014 release of the Katrina Air Jordan 3 that is currently floating around is actually an old photo from 2006, taken by mjo23dan on NT of a Jordan Brand product showcase/display. So, there you have it; the Air Jordan III “Katrina” is still a rumor – one that is pretty much debunked at this point – and the White/Cement Grey-Infrared 23-Black pair that is slated to drop on March 8th, 2014 is without question a completely different shoe.

Katrina Air Jordan 3 Release Date

The Katrina Air Jordan 3 is scheduled to release at select Jordan Brand retailers during November 2017. This of course will be the first time this particular model will make a retail appearance.

Adidas Harden Vol 1 First Look

James Harden had yet another MVP-caliber season that probably has the man finishing as second in MVP voting to former teammate Russell Westbrook and earned him another All-NBA First Team honor. He led the Houston Rockets to a playoff birth wearing the adidas Harden Vol 1, his first signature model with the three stripes that garnered attention for the Boost cushioning system and split upper that alternated between woven textiles and a premium leather toecap. It looks like adidas Hoops is bringing out a new rendition for summer with this Harden Vol 1 Uncaged. The pair takes after the Ultra Boost counterparts in name as the all woven upper ditches the protective toebox and TPU midsole for a simple Primeknit and Boost combination that’s a bit more lifestyle friendly. Stay tuned for more previews in the near future and expect a release in July.

Is it NIKE AIR MAX 95 “COBBLESTONE” Releasing Date

The Nike Air Max 97 might be the retro Air Max model of choice this year given the shoe’s 20th-anniversary celebration, but there’s no denying that the Nike Air Max 95 is a timeless offering. The Sergio Lazano designed classic has taken a backseat to the AM97 but Nike Sportswear continues to update the retro with a number of tonal shades, iridescent qualities, and homages to other famous Air Max offerings from the past. This Nike Air Max 95 Cobblestone utilizes a number of grayscale shades with bolstered vintage looking suede for a nice change of pace when compared to the more traditional neoprene and mesh netting. The off-white Sail midsole and outsole unit match the sandy hues on the heel for a nice touch. There’s no word yet on a Release Date, but check out official images and expect this pair to arrive at retailers before month’s end.
