James provided 28 points (9-20 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 8-12 FT), 15 rebounds, eight assists and two blocks over 40 minutes during Thursday’s 113-91 loss to the Warriors in Game 1 of the NBA finals. “No matter how many days that you have to prepare, you can’t simulate what they have,” James said. The Cavaliers and Warriors went toe-to-toe through the first quarter, hinting at the heavyweight battle that was about to unfold. But Golden State opened the gap in the second period and pulled away in the third handing the Wine & Gold a 113-91 loss on Thursday night at Oracle Arena.
James’ contributions will undoubtedly be pivotal to the Cavs’ quest to leave Golden State with a 1-1 series split through a Game 2 upset on Sunday night.
This time King James debuted a new pair of kicks in Game 1 of the NBA Finals but it wasn’t the Soldier 11. Instead he went with a new Maroon and Gold version of the Nike LeBron 14. I guess they’re waiting to bring out the Soldier the same way they did last year, which was Game 3 with a Blackout-ed colorway suggesting a covert nature of the unveiling. Hopefully they will deliver a turnaround performance just like last year.
Lets stay tuned .
